Failure Report

enfusion-group.com was offline for about 7 hours this afternoon (EDT) as a result of what looks to be a hard drive failure. I'm hoping that the failure was caused by loose cabling, rather than impending drive failure.

In any case, within the next week or two, enfusion-group.com will be running on a completely different server which will hopefully be just as reliable.

UPDATED...

[2002-05-15]:
rogue crashed again at about 11:00PM EDT tonight, with similar symptoms. I'm not convinced that it's completely a hardware problem, or a hardware problem at all, but it has just started happening out of the blue.

[2002-05-17]:
I've confirmed that it is the hard drive, after putting it in another machine, and having it crash repeatedly. Since it's under warranty, there's a replacement on it's way, which should be here by tomorrow.

[2002-05-21]:
The replacement drive arrived, and I've installed it. Seems to be running fine...
