My Big Fat Guyanese Wedding.

  • The wedding plans are coming together pretty well. We're down to lots and lots of little details, but they're all slowly being taken care of.
  • This past Saturday, we threw a surprise shower for Kelly. Actually, it was a surprise for Kelly, but it was a Jack & Jill shower, so technically, it should probably have been a surprise for me too. But I knew about it. It went very well, we both had a great time, there were some fun games, and lots of our friends and family turned out to the occasion. The big day is only 26 more days away!
  • I've got some pictures to add to the photo gallery, but haven't had a chance to do it yet. Also, hopefully sometime soon, thechungs.ca will go online.

    Moving and shaking.

  • I've decided to recomission one of my older computers down here in the Q9 employee co-location cabinet. I figure I might as well use someone else's power that I don't have to pay for, especially on a shared 100Mbit pipe. Not sure what I'm going to do with the box yet, but SMTP and webmail come to mind. The new box is running Debian Linux 3.0.
  • I've added a new graph to the EG website, it's an overview graph that just shows traffic over the past 15 minutes, but if you click on each graph, it gives you historical data as well. Click here to check it out.

    Unreal Tournament 2003

  • So apparently just around the corner, Unreal Tournament 2003 looks pretty good. I was chatting with Jer tonight about setting up a server on my new co-located server... However, after looking at the hardware requirements, that say a PIII 733 is the minimum requirement, and a 1.0GHz processor is recommended, I'm not so sure the game would run on my lowly PIII 450. Looks like I'll have to buy a new computer so that I can play the game. ;( Curious to see what the server-only requirements would be, since those requirements are probably mostly rendering/graphics-based.
