centerICQ

  • A co-worker of mine pointed me at centerICQ, an ncurses-based instant messaging client for Linux/BSD. It's interface isn't quite as quick to navigate as mICQ, but it's a bit more feature rich, has menus and supports not only ICQ, but also Yahoo, AIM, MSN, IRC and Jabber. So I can now pretty much communicate with everyone from the comfort of my always running IM client inside of a screen session.
